Synopsis	The Pentagon Papers become public. Daniel Ellsberg while working for the RAND Corporation has the opportunity to see a secret report on US decision making on Vietnam. It clearly shows significant differences between what US Presidents had said to the US Congress in secret and what the American public were told. The New York Times published a series of articles despite the US government's best efforts to use the law to prevent them from doing so.
